From the report: “This Manual reissues DoD 4165.63-M (Reference (a)) in accordance with the guidance in DoD Instruction (DoDI) 4165.63 (Reference (b)) and the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5134.01 (Reference (c)) to implement policy, assign responsibilities, and provide procedures on all matters associated with military housing. It also addresses DoD responsibilities for privatized lodging.”
